"MUSIC IS THE ART OF THINKING WITH SOUNDS" - Jules Combarieu
Waverly Elementary is excited to offer a variety of music programs for our students beginning in Kindergarten. Classroom music is offered to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade, led by the wonderful and talented Mrs. Michelle Cowan and Mr. Ken Kell. Students also have the opportunity to join middle school choir and continue on through high school, led by Mr. Kell. Students interested in instrumental music, can join Mrs. Shelly Schweigerdt and her group of young musicians, beginning in the 5th grade. These students also have the opportunity to join middle school band in the 7th and 8th grade and may choose to continue through high school.
